Originally hailing from Cairns in Far North Queensland, Luke packed all his worldly possessions into his 2006 Honda Accord and journeyed through blistering heat and freezing cold before eventually running out of petrol in Melbourne in 2021.
During his time at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) he performed in ‘Morning Melodies’ (dir. Tyran Parke, 2023) as well as in the ensemble of ‘Heathers’ (dir. Alistair Smith, 2023) and ‘Spring Awakening’ (dir. Petra Kalive, 2024) Finishing with a bang, Luke played Christopher Belling in ‘Curtains’ (dir. Roger Hodgman, 2024).
This year, Luke covered multiple roles in Glenn Elston’s classic adaptation of ‘Wind in the Willows’ (dir. Michael Bishop) in the Botanical Gardens and has recently finished touring ‘Eco Guardians’ with the National Theatre for Children around Australia.
Off stage, Luke enjoys whimsical adventures (road trips), writing silly little songs, and assembling IKEA furniture. Love to Freddie, Reilly and Mum.
