About the Program
This workshop will explore the play and its characters, culminating in a showcase of work on the final day of the workshop, which families and friends are welcome to attend.
Students will be assigned scenes from the play, sharing characters with other students from scene to scene so they can experience playing diverse character types. Speak the speech, [we] pray you!
Building on skills taught in previous workshops we’ll be exploring stage combat, in-depth character and voice work which will add skills to students’ acting toolkits, building confidence and connection.
Now that we’re in the marvellous Greek Centre again with a stage and some lighting- we will collectively explore how production elements like sound and lights can enhance a performance.
Some acting experience is great but not required. All students need is a passion for performing and willingness to work hard and have fun for a week!
