About the incursion

Through the performance of key scenes and discussion of narrative, our A Midsummer Night's Dream session encapsulates the whole play and its interweaving worlds of the lovers, fairies and mechanicals to give students a playful experience of the text in performance. Robust discussion throughout focuses on love and marriage, perception and imagination, magic and nature, dreams and transformation, and high and low comedy.
