Teens aged 13-17 are invited to undertake a week of fun and hilarity, learning and performing one of Shakespeare’s comedy classics, Much Ado About Nothing (abridged) in a week!
Over the course of five days, students will be assigned roles from the play, ending in a performance of their work on day 5. Working with seasoned actor/directors, students will be given valuable direction and guidance to enhance their performer toolkit. Oh, and a heap of fun and games!
Furthering the monologue filming exploration from the September workshops, students will have the chance to expand their practise, putting down a small two-person scene on film to be screened at the showcase.
Recommended for teens with prior experience in workshops or school drama.
Those ready to take on a challenging but rewarding week, or who are considering studying acting or performance after high school.
