Split over two age specific weeks, from 7-11 and 12-16 years old, each workshop is tailored to suit a range of experience levels.
This winter, step into the role of regal royalty or the rascally rogue. Participants enjoy the magnificence of creating larger than life characters, stretching them creatively and courageously.
Drawing from a selection of plays, speeches, and characters; this golden collection of identities is a gateway to self-confidence and playfulness.
A variety of acting methodologies and techniques are employed by working company practitioners. There is character analysis and work on unlocking Shakespeare’s language (iambic pentameter, verse, and prose etc) and an emphasis on play and games, which creates a fun and supportive environment, showcasing expressive skills and developing confidence. The week will culminate in a showcase on the final day for friends and family.
