As an outdoor theatre company our performances are subject to the elements and will go ahead in most weather conditions, including light, intermittent or potential rain. A cancellation will only be considered if the conditions present a danger to patrons or staff.
Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a performance night and acknowledge that tickets are only refundable if the performance is cancelled. However, if the performance is not cancelled and you would prefer to swap your tickets to another night you are very welcome to do so.
We encourage you to pack smart and bring something to keep warm and dry, just in case. The temperature can drop at night, especially in parkland. Ponchos, blankets and plastic picnic rugs are always a good option.
The Venue Manager will be monitoring ground conditions, and checking the weather radar (please bear in mind that conditions on site may differ to what you are experiencing at home). We try to cancel as early as possible, but the decision is generally made 2 hours prior to the performance start time. Since the weather can turn unexpectedly, cancellations may need to occur at any time up to or during the performance.
In the rare event that a session is cancelled, ticket holders will receive an SMS (if you have provided your mobile phone number when purchasing the tickets) and an EMAIL, we will update the on our WEBSITE and we will post a notification on FACEBOOK. In addition, a staff member will be on site from 1 hour prior to the scheduled performance start time up until the cancelled show was meant to start to direct anyone who may have missed the text and email. Please assume the session is going ahead, unless you receive the official notification. If you decide not to attend without receiving notice, your tickets will be forfeited.
Oh Poo! But don't worry, you can exchange your tickets to see another performance or, if your show has been cancelled you can claim a refund. To do so please email email@example.com with the following information
2. Performance you were booked to see (show title, date and time)
3. Booking reference
4. Number of Tickets
5. How you booked the tickets (Ticketmaster/ ASC website/ other)
6. What you would like (exchange/refund)
7. Best contact number to get you on should we have any questions.
8. If you can attach your original tickets then that is a lot of help!
Please note, for refunds, our ticketing system does not retain your credit card information. As such, to process a refund we will need to call you. In your email, please nominate a time you would like to be contacted and we will endeavour to call you then.
Also please note that if you purchased your tickets through Ticketmaster and wish to have a refund, Ticketmaster will put through the refund for you. You can contact us and we will pass on the information to Ticketmaster.
